The I.A.E is the Management and Business School of the Austral University. It has been training businessmen and executives in South America for almost 25 years and for third consecutive year is included among the 30 top business schools of the world, according to the Executive Education 2002 ranking published by the Financial Times.

 

In 2000, IAE created the Entrepreneurship Center, which main mission is to develop the knowledge, research and actions to promote the entrepreneur spirit, in order to create value through successful and innovative companies, spreading this spirit to all institutions in society, whether new or existing, large or small, private or public, whether non-profit or profit-making organizations.

One of the principal activities conducted by the Entrepreneurship Center is the “Naves” Competition; a competition of business plans addressed mainly to university students who, during the competition, can relate to their peirs in order to make teams, develop business plans and finally create new projects.

The Law Firm has provided advice to the Center since its inception (Naves 2000) and it also advises all the participants during the competition as regards the different legal matters of the New Projects.

During the course of the competition, the Law Firm usually gives two seminars on Entrepreneurship Legal Matters. Moreover, the participants can make certain queries by e-mail. In the final stages of the competition, the Law Firm provides more specialized advice to the finalists. Lastly, the Team winning the competition receives as a prize hours of free advice by the Law Firm.
