Contact Form The Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) [Buenos Aires Technological Institute] was founded in 1959 for the purposes of contributing to the continuous development of the different areas of engineering, educating top professionals and with a high academic demand and quality as a guiding principle. Its vision involves working with a world-level quality model and its mission is to generate a community of students, teachers and managers that enables the formation of competitive professionals, both at a national and international scope, in the engineering area and in other related disciplines. In 1999 and for the first time, a university was included in the top ten favorite trademarks of Argentine businessmen, in the annual survey of “Total Research” published by the magazine “Mercado”. This academic organization was the ITBA and occupied the sixth place among trademarks and first among universities. In 2000, the ITBA continued in the first place among universities, but it was the second favorite trademark chosen by businessmen in the general ranking.Nowadays, it has more than three thousand engineers and graduates, and more than 600 students have attended its postgraduate courses. These work in the most important companies of the country or in their own projects.During 2000, ITBA´s Graduates´ Association together with a group of professionals having experience in Entrepreneurship (among which, we find the Law Firm), started to plan the creation of the ITBAEntrepreneurship Center. After two years of hard work and after being organized as a Non-profit Association called “EMPRENDEDORES ARGENTINOS” (of which the Law Firm is founding partner), the ITBA Entrepreneurship Center called “ITBA for Entrepreneurs” was launched together with the ITBA in August 2002. The Law Firm provides advising services to the Center and to the Participants of the different activities organized by the Center. The Firm does this, on the one hand, in the Annual Program by giving the Legal Module where the most relevant legal matters of Entrepreneurship are explained; and on the other, through the Center’s Legal Lab that advises chosen Projects of the Program and during the whole year to all projects coming to th e Center for help. |
