Endeavor is a non-profit international organization that promotes a new model of development by supporting entrepreneur activities in emerging markets.

Endeavor was born in United States in 1997 due to the vision and initiative of Linda Rottenberg (renowned social entrepreneur) and Peter Kellner (important risk capitalist), mates atYale Law School and former student of Harvard University. Endeavor seeks to eliminate the barriers that prevent the creation and development of new companies, such as lack of access to capital, information and qualified supporting networks, and tries to promote different models of entrepreneurs who can inspire and educate the next generation of business men and women (case studies). In this way, Endeavor aims at building a "Global Community of Entrepreneurs" and generating the necessary conditions for the next generation of entrepreneurs, beyond the economic situation and their previous experiences, to have access to the required knowledge, networks and capital for the creation of the new projects.

Endeavor is based in New York and has offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Uruguay. To this date, it has selected more than 100 entrepreneurs. Endeavor Entrepreneurs are a new generation of business men and women with vision and enthusiasm to create value through their projects. Endeavor Entrepreneurs share the desire to contribute to their communities and become socially responsible business men and women.

Endeavor Argentina has more than 50 entrepreneurs that benefit from the national and international network and programs of Endeavor. Besides supporting selected entrepreneurs, Endeavor supports the entrepreneur community as a whole through different activities and events.

In November 2001, Endeavor received an invitation from Schwab Foundation and the World Economic Forum to participate in the Social Entrepreneurs´ Summit, together with other 41 organizations known for their contribution to the global economic and social development. Time magazine distinguished Linda Rottenberg, founder and president of Endeavor, as one of the "Top 100 Innovators of the XXI Century". In February 2002, during the Davos Forum, Endeavor received the recognition given by the international consulting firm Bain & Company as one of the 10 intermediary organizations certified to operate in the recently launched "Global Exchange for Social Investments".
