DESAFÍO Joven is the one-to-one mentoring program of Shell CAPSA and ACDE (Christian Association of Business Managers)

The aim of this program is to help young people create their owe business or company and, in this way, contribute to the development of the country. It is also an opportunity for business men and women to pass on their experiences and support the young in their efforts to build a future.

During the program, the participant evaluates not only the feasibility of his/her project but also his/her own capacities and talents. Many young men and women have good ideas that can turn into small businesses or companies, but they ignore the demands and abilities required to be a businessperson.

This program was created and sponsored by Shell in 1982 when it was launched in Scotland. Later, with the support of Shell and other companies and organizations, the program was adopted and implemented in different countries:Australia, Brazil, Brunei, Chile, the Netherlands, Hungary, Mauritius, Oman, the United Kingdom (Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland), Singapore, Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Since 2001, the Law Firm gives a seminar to the participants of this program on the most relevant legal aspects of new projects. After the seminar, the attendants can make queries to the Law Firm by e-mail.
